Annual Awards and All-section End of Year Meeting

This will be an end-of-year meeting in Rollo park for all Sections, with Awards for all 3 sections and the Explorers. There will be wide games for all Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, while the Scout Council (all volunteers, parents, Explorers and invited guests) attend our brief annual report and general meeting.

Annual General Meeting

   1. Robert Carr stepping down as Chair (GLV to take over meeting)
   2. Approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 25 June 2025
   3. Note the Group’s financial year (1 April 26 - 31 March 2027)
   4. Agree the number of members that may be appointed to the Trustee Board (Chair, GLV, Secretary, Treasurer + max of 8 elected/co-opted members)
   5. Agree the quorum for future meetings of the Group Scout Council (excluding this AGM) - 10, one of whom must be the Group Lead Volunteer, Chair or Trustee.
4. Review of the previous year
   1. The Group Lead Volunteer’s review of Scouts in Dunning
   2. Receive and consider the Annual Report of the Group Trustee Board, including the annual Statement of the Accounts
