First Night back after summer - Learning about Water Filtration, Survivor!

Tonight's session will welcome everyone back to the group and outline some of the key events in this year's programme. This year we have built the programme around the activities that Explorers suggested at the end of last term along with activities leading to three main badges (Survival, Fundraising and Community Impact). We have also included a number of Explorer led activities which will help to contribute to Platinum and Diamond awards. Explorers have been allocated sessions that they will lead and will be notified in advance as to when these are. We have also planned a couple of camps and have some activities which take place at weekends. A list of these dates will be sent in the coming weeks.
Tonight's main activity aims to help Explorers think about water safety and is part of meeting the requirements of the Survival badge. We also have a fun game based on team trust and our usual break for chat and refreshments.
